Hello lovelies,
Today my friend Julie tells us all about November
10th, the day she saw the New Moon cast for real in Paris. The same day this happened. Yep, that's Robsten handholding.
Anyway, I know this is a little late but it is a good reason to remember the old time!
Kristen, Robert, Taylor and me (along with 2 000 other
girls)
Dear all,
My name is Julie. I’m a French student, 21 years old already, and I’ve known Emelyne for a year now, since we met in Ottawa. I also happen to live in Paris, and I also happened to be in front of
the Hotel Crillon yesterday, where I was with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. Ok, the truth is, Em told me that there would be a conference at the hotel Crillon, to promote
the release of New Moon in theaters, and as soon as I heard that I decided that I would be ready to wait in front of the hotel for hours, even if it was raining or snowing. Luckily, we didn’t
have rain or snow! The conference took place at 12:30 yesterday. I thought there might be some fans waiting, so I decided to arrive there early. You can’t guess how surprised I was when I
discovered that around 2 000 screaming girls were already waiting in front of the hotel when I arrived at 11:30. Those girls were honestly hysterical, shouting each time somebody got out of the
hotel, pushing other people, yelling at each other, screaming Robert’s name… Since I’m quite tiny, it was hard for me to manage to find a spot from where I could clearly see the entrance of the
hotel… I finally found on, and I waited, and waited, and my toes were getting frozen when my best friend joined me. Then we waited together, waited, and waited, until we saw several journalists
with cameras getting out of the hotel. At that moment, you could feel the girls around us getting even more hysterical (how was that even possible?), ready to scream again and take pictures at
the same time. And then, after I had been waiting an hour and a half, the three main actors and the director got out on the balcony just in front of me. Kristen looked absolutely adorable in a
beautiful white dress, and the boys looked very classy in their suits. I couldn’t even hear myself thinking because the girls around me were shouting too loud… The actors looked both happy to see
that the crowd was yelling their names, and embarrassed : I think they just didn’t know what to do. They were looking at us, smiling, but they couldn’t have any kind of interaction with us
because they were too far away from us… And I’m sure Kristen was definitely freezing ! They didn’t stay long on the balcony, but it made me happy to see them : it is very strange to really “meet”
someone that you have only seen on a screen. It didn’t look real at first ! Too bad we couldn’t see them closer, I really wanted to get one of my Twilight books signed. Maybe next year,
hopefully. I’ll be there again, with an extra pair of socks and a bigger scarf…
Now, I’ll let you enjoy the pictures that I managed to take ! See you soon !
Thanks for sharing Julie, I hope I'll be able to come with you next year!
The first pictures of Kristen Stewart's upcoming movie, Welcome to The Rileys, were just released on
IMDB. I have to say, I think
this movie (filmed last fall) is going to be pretty good - I hope it will be competing at Sundance in January (edit on December 3rd: it will be competing!)
WARNING: she looks broken and down.
Kristen plays Mallory, a sixteen years old stripper, prostitute and junky (the girl never chooses easy parts) who meets
the Rileys, a couple who lost their daughter (if I understood well!)
Nope, don't worry, I am not adding a bike to my Christmas list... This being said, I would love to go
to work by bike if the weather was not this yucky and if my parents actually lived closer to work. A bike like this one...
I should have posted that a while ago, but this has been busy. One of my coworker advised me to make a list for Christmas this year, so here we go: This pillow and this sewing kit are
from Modcloth, which is also where I spotted gorgeous
dresses the other day. The pillow is for decorating my bed and the sewing kit is because I am feeling
ready to learn.
Pyjama pants. These are from Etam but really, I would be happy
with any cute pairs. Mine split the other day and I now accepted the fact that I cannot save them from the trash. I am ready to move on.
I am not happy to have a spare wall in my room. So this is from Alinéa.
A cute basket to put away my stuff in the bathroom. From Les Fleurs.
The Twilight books. I used to borrow the Pixie Looking One's and I now want to have my owns. In English, please.
